Characters of Moorland

Moorland is a large area in the southern part of New Jorvik county. The area includes Moorland, Nilmer's Highland, Jarl's Tomb and Fort Pinta.

Justin is the son of Thomas Moorland. He helps you find your way around the game when you first log in. Jenna the Stable Manager, is located south of the stables. She offers accommodation at the hostel for a fee.

Your Jorvik adventure starts here. Moorland Stables, the home base. The Bobcat practice paddock

Justin's father, Thomas, is the owner of Moorland Stables. First contact with Thomas is to help save his land. May is the stable hand. She shows you the gear shop, clothes shop and the star shop when you first arrive at Moorland.

The Bobcat Leader, who isn't nice at first, that is, until you help her. In return, she shows you the first Bobcat Equestrian trail.

Tan is another Bobcat member, who stands close to Loretta. Tan runs Moorlands second Equestrian trail.

Just a walk from the Bobcats you find the handsome Josh. He teaches you how to ride the pole bending course.

Mrs Holdsworth lives East of Moorland stables.

Mrs Holdsworth, a retired accountant now spends her day tending to her small orchard.

Head North-east to find Conrad.

Conrad, the only blacksmith in Jorvik, works just outside the stables. He is dedicated to the Aideens Patrons.

Old man Jasper

Thomas Moorland was married to Catherine, who died in childbirth. Old man Jasper was Catherines father, making Justin Moorland Jaspers Grandson. Jasper blames Thomas for Catherines death.

Nilmer's Highland

Nilmer's Highland is a small mountainous area above and to the west of Moorland.

The Abandoned Farm belonged to Mr. Hill who was a very talented young rider around Jorvik. Long ago, Mr Hill was competing in a race from Moorland to Hillcrest, when galloping across the large wooden bridge, it suddenly gave way. Mr. Hill died, however his spirit remains at the farm, in search of his beloved wife.
It turns out the bridge wasn't built to proper standards. G.E.D, the company who built the bridge, used old wood and substandard concrete to save money. Mr Hills wife, moved to Firgrove shortly after the accident.

Mr Hill's Ghost lives on in search of his wife.

On the northern side of the highlands you will find Ydris and his side kick Jester with their carnival - circus wagon.

Ydris is a mysterious man who resides in Nilmers Highland. He is the carnival leader

Doyle's Abbey & Jarl's Tomb

From Moorland take the east road past Old Man Jasper's farm and head east towards Fort Pinta. At the first road junction, on the left, is where you will find Mary, a stable girl standing at the gates to the chapel with her ​​little lamb Twinky. Doyle's Abbey is an old dilapidated chapel built by the monks several hundred years ago, several graves still remain today.

The trail to Jarl's Tomb is immediately behind the Abbey.  During the 1200s, Jon Jarl with his fleet landed where Fort Pinta stands today. He was a very popular ruler of Jorvik and was buried here in Jarl's Tomb. The burial vault consists of several chambers. Each chamber is sealed and can only be opened with special ore that has mystical powers. Jon, the eternal protector of Jorvik, remains loyal to Aideens Patrons.

Jarl's Tomb is the name of the mysterious place where Jon Jarl is buried.
